A little set of five 16mm rounds decorated with glass shards and murrini (because my friend Kaz Baildon came to stay so I was thinking of her when I made these!)
These beads are very much influenced by the work of German and Dutch beadmakers, particularly Michou Pascale Anderson (look her up, her work is stunning - ohhhh, those little fishies ...).
I love the vibrancy of the bright opaques with the black comic book lines and the mixture of murrini, dots and dashes.
This was the first set I made in this style - and the green beads were the very first. I think you can see the evolution of the idea (and also my skill at using very fine stringer!) as the beads progress.
A set of three 16mm beads in my Colourfetti style - the base is light blue and the murrini flowers are deep blue with lime green centres. The four spacers are decorated with a toning frit.
Five beads measuring approx 16mm wide. Encased white base decorated with beautiful rainbow effect murrini (by Julie Haveland Beer) and tiny dots. With 4 useful etched spacers.
This is a sweet little set of my seaside-y beads. The photos show both sides of the beads so you can see that the centre focal has a flattened back and the bead with the turquoise starfish is actually a button. The other bead is a shell, and there's two turquoise spacers as well.
A really pretty set of three beads, one measuring approx 18mm, the other two approx 16mm. Pale blue core with 'floating' blue and yellow murrini and tiny dots. With 4 small etched spacers in palest blue.
Choose from three sets - a bright and funky 25mm lentil decorated with a raised heart on one side, and a toning pair of 14mm chunky donuts perfect for earrings.
